Monox is an electronic apparatus that measures and displays the potential difference produced by particular cells sensitive to the concentration of oxygen.

THe display of the partial pressure of oxygen takes place by operating a calibration function that interrelates the potential difference produced by the cells with a certain value of pressure of oxygen.
The apparatus may display from one to three cells.
The apparatus has visual and audible alarms that are activated when the calculated value of partial pressure of oxygen goes beyond the limits set by the user.
The apparatus (if the version so provides) has a HUD to reproduce the alarms by means of two LED lights.
The color of the LED characterizes the type of alarm:
• Red = low oxygen
• Yellow = high oxygen
